Syndicut have worked very closely over the past few months on the design and build of a new comparison website that allows the user to compare school results from Ofsted. This comprehensive site displays all available results for schools in one place enabling the visitor to compare schools, finding the best one for their children. The site benchmarks the school results against the national average. Syndicut built the website as a bespoke solution and the DB was built in Microsoft SQL 2008. We're very proud indeed. http://home.rm.com/schoolfinder/
Syndicut were asked by Channel 4 to redesign their Dispatches homepage and build it into their BIP pages. The programmes are generally edgy and often perceived as being controversial, so Syndicut had to take this into account through the design phase. Dispatches is now live. We love the site and the series. View it for yourself here
Syndicut and Yell have done alot of work together over the past few months and will continue to do so moving forward. The most recent project to launch is The Business Toolkit which provides useful information and resources for their customers. Syndicut used an isotope plug on the site which creates some really cool movement. It's built in Kentico, so very easy to edit too. We love Yell! http://www.yellbusinesstoolkit.com/
Syndicut have worked with Oprema to establish a brand identity and all associated collateral, stationery and finally, an all singing all dancing ecommerce store. Syndicut used Kentico to build the online store and it worked exceptionally well with their customers. Oprema can manage all orders through the site and report on all purchases that are made, or enquire why orders aren't completed on the site. Check out the site for yourself here http://www.oprema.co.uk/
IT Europa is a leading provider of strategic news. Users can subscribe for free or pay for a subscription to receive added benefits. Syndicut designed and built the website in Kentico, but also built a custom admin area where IT Europa can manage subscribers and banner ads (using BittAds). Check out the It Europa to see the Masonry plug in we used. http://www.iteuropa.com/
Syndicut designed and built this very sleek, easy to use exchange site. Salon2Salon is a site where hairdressers can swap, sell and buy hairdressing equipment. It's simple to use and has taken off since going live in the world of hairdressing! http://salon2salon.co.uk/

We have been Allen Associates’ incumbent marketing agency for 4 years. Probably Oxfordshires best recruitment agency, they have real vision on what it takes to be noticed and are not afraid to be bold. The brief for their latest campaign was to reengage with clients, putting Allen Associates at the forefront of their minds and keeping them there. We delivered a two layered campaign, with the first communication coming by way of an email, just a little note to say that something was coming to the in the post. The second element was a beautifully packaged, branded desk plant and the message ‘Forget-me-not’. Designed to achieve maximum impact whilst being compact enough to deliver via standard mailing, the feedback says it all…. ‘Just a quick e-mail to say many thanks indeed for the lovely forget-me-knot! What a great idea. I will look forward to watching it grow and it will certainly keep Allen Associates in my thoughts…’ www.allen-associates.co.uk
This month, Syndicut have commissioned two photoshoots for Newbury with a view to taking them in a new direction later this year. Our brief was to capture the power, passion and strength of the sport, creating unusual close ups to create a unique style for Newbury. A picture speaks a thousand words and defining a specific image style and approach can do wonders adding depth and new perspective to an established brand identity. Keep your eyes peeled for the Winter campaign to see the results in full...
Syndicut have been designing for Premium Ingredients UK for a number of years and it would seem that our reputation has proceeded through the company. We were recently approached by their HQ to pitch for the digital agency role relating to a number of new website releases. Working with a design, Syndicut were chosen as the web developers to deliver three new propositions for USA, Canada and Europe. Stage 1 was a simple CMS site, however stage 2 (due for release later this year) will incorporate Prinova’s 1000+ product range and will enable the user to easily discover and order samples and quotes for products most relevant to them. http://www.prinovausa.com http://www.prinovacanada.com http://www.prinovaeurope.com/
Just a few weeks after our initial pitch, the first element of the Yell’s ‘Win a website for a year’ campaign hit the ground running with a simple Facebook application to collect competition entries and promote the campaign. Designed by Yell and delivered by Syndicut, this is the first of many elements to this campaign…. http://www.facebook.com/#!/yellbusiness?sk=app_254164977930044 Next stage is to create eight online tutorial pages to support Yells’ outbound email campaign. This month saw the rollout of our Wood Green rebrand – after 6 months in planning and design we could not wait to see our design rolled out across the Wood Green network of touch-points. As a number of other agencies were involved, it was vital to ensure they were absolutely clear on our brand direction, so the Syndicut creative team designed a range of print and digital mock-ups to be provided alongside our comprehensive brand guidelines. As with many of our clients, the scope of the project has grown, extending to include on-site signage and branding, custom twitter design < http://bit.ly/oMCrrZ >, vehicle livery, photo shoots and even their own custom font design.
Yell approached us to pitch for an integrated campaign that will be launching later next month. Technical expertise and creative imagination to deliver the campaign was essential for Yell, so they approached Syndicut. We understood what it means to work with a leading brand and how best to navigate large corporations in order to remain agile. So for now, it’s heads down and crack on, for lovely people at Yell. See you on the other side. http://marketing.yell.com/ http://www.facebook.com/#!/yellbusiness?sk=app_254164977930044
Partnering with BKR on a second website, this time for their Asia Pac region, our graphic designers created a sub brand identity that was consistent with BKR’s core brand whilst providing the Asia Pacific region with their own unique identity. Executed beautifully by our web developers, the site was selected to appear in Kentico’s ‘Top 15 Websites for April: Big Names & Great Brands’ < http://bit.ly/ncBHX9>
We know how important it is to keep ideas fresh no matter what the proposition, and so we devised an engaging visual style that adhered to brand guidelines whilst being both quirky and yet suitable for the serious nature of the issues that the MIB tackle.
Responsible for meeting the requirements of multiple stakeholders and managing the lengthy sign-off process prior to the print production, Syndicut ensured the end product was delivered on time and was beautifully presented.
Once again, we’ve had the pleasure of working for our good buddies over at Lion TV. Partnering for over 5 years and as their preferred digital agency (well, we like to think so), we complement their vision and enthusiasm, creating robust and engaging interactive websites to accompany the amazing programs that they make. Syndicut’s web development team was responsible for the website front-end build in .NET and JavaScript with the CMS being built in Django. History Detectives http://to.pbs.org/oeIgTI
PMC tracked us down after falling in love with an email marketing campaign that we sent on behalf of another of our clients. Serendipity in motion…. PMC were looking for an Abingdon or Oxford marketing agency and there we were, just 5 minutes around the corner. A fortunate meet indeed, Syndicut will be managing PMC’s ongoing email marketing campaigns and we now offer PMC’s online usability testing to our clients. This eye tracking software is particularly useful for ecommerce as it provides the retailer with a user’s eye-view of how well their web site functions. http://www.pmcretail.com/
As Newbury’s main marketing communications agency, we deliver a wide range of services to them including print and digital. This month, one of the many projects we undertook was a film related - editing their stock footage to create a launch video for their Summer campaign, to be hosted on their website and YouTube channel. Just a little soupe sans of what we do, and it is great for our clients to know they can come to us, no matter what their marketing requirement. http://www.newbury-racecourse.co.uk/
Earlier this year we gave Quiller a brand refresh and then designed and built them a website that pushed their new professional, elegant image. Built in Kentico, Quiller have the ability to manage and maintain the site themselves. Consultancy is a broad area, and they operate in most areas, so it was imperative that their message was not diluted. The result was a success. Another happy client. http://www.quillerconsultants.com/
Anyone who’s been to Crufts will appreciate it is a difficult place to stand out from the crowd, with throngs of exhibitors vying for attention. It therefore was the perfect opportunity to test our bold new brand design - we created a plethora of branded materials including the stand design, merchandise (leads, lanyards etc), leaflets, donation forms and of course, the all-important ‘Dog Stop’. In particular, Wood Green wanted to promote the plight of the humble Staffie and so we collaborated with them, listened to their story and armed them with a punchy campaign and clear messages to deliver on the day. Unfortunately Mr Brown did not get an invite…. he got over it though. http://www.woodgreen.org.uk/
This month, we were approached by Avis to pitch for a place on their roster to backfill their incumbent agency. Avis were looking for a digital design agency who were skilled, agile and responsive. Working to a strict 24 hour SLA and adhering to brand guidelines were key requirements and Syndicut fit the bill. Predominantly creating web banners for their Pan European propositions, our attention to detail and structured approach are standing us in good stead with Avis and we look forward to forging a long term partnership with our lovely new client.
This month saw the expansion of Syndicut, adding a new member to the team. Jennie has been working in new media for 8 years and with past employers including News Corp as well as niche new media marketing agencies. With experience in mobile, web, IVR and events, she has managed multimillion pound client accounts including project management of complex mobile technology projects for likes of MTV, O2, Sony, Bauer and many more. Adding another string to our bow of comprehensive services, she will be responsible for new business as well as client services. She’s happy to help, so feel free to give her call to say hi.
Supporting the wonderfully talented peeps at Roost Online (The Social Communications Agency), we have been designing Facebook pages, infographics, web banners and digital collateral for the WSPA ‘Not in My Cuppa’ campaign. Syndicut partner with all sorts of agencies from TV production to internal comms. We’re respectful of client ownership and ensure our agency clients receive the same excellence from us as our direct clients. Relatively new to the scene, Roost Online are knocking them out of the park, winning big name clients and we’re really excited to have found another lovely agency to work with both now and in the future. http://notinmycuppa.com/
Wood Green approached us as they were looking for the right branding agency to take them in a new direction. We pitched, we won and the rest is history…. Well not quite. Specialising in internal communications, Syndicut understand the importance and complexities of gaining stakeholder buy-in when managing change within an organisation, so we took a strategic approach. Working hard to engage with stakeholders, we undertook a brand audit, designed and facilitated focus groups as well as distributing surveys with over 200 stakeholders. We collated and analysed our findings before our graphic designers created a powerful new brand concept that better represented Wood Greens’ fun and passionate personality, whilst also incorporating the importance of the work they do - fighting for a series cause.
Some shy away from digital Christmas cards but we showed when working with Oxera, that it is still possible to appear both thoughtful and caring when moving away from the traditional hand delivered card. The brief was to design a Flash based card which still delivered the all important warm fuzzies. Incorporating some lovely artwork from 8 year old Ellie Laurie (on behalf of Helen Douglas House Hospice) and with a sing-a-long bouncy ball and a suitably familiar Christmas song, the end result was cheerful, personalised, environmentally friendly card which showed Oxera’s caring side through their charity links…. And the added bonus? They sidestepped the chaotic Christmas post, ensuring all of their most important people got their card on time. http://www.oxera.com/christmas/
